Bousquet Ski Area

Slush Skimming 2003

Part 2

The slush skim as it is now called originated in this area at Brodie Mountain Ski Area in the spring of 1976 and was held there as a slush "jump" format, with real jumps,

till the ski area was sold to Jiminy Peak ski area who in turn, closed the area to skiing. The event is now held at Bousquet Ski Area on or around Saint Patrick's Day each year. If you've never been to one or participated in one, you should really check it out.

As I recover more photos, I will add to the Brodie Mountain pages.
